Technical Lead of DevOps and Cloud Solutions are passionate about creating, automating and maintaining Continuous Delivery pipeline in the Centric’s Hybrid Cloud Environment. Employees must champion Infrastructure Automation, support Hybrid Cloud Solutions, automate Continuous Deployment and display a strong understanding of PaaS, IaaS and SaaS. Creating the next generation of Hybrid Cloud Platform, employee makes a key contribution supporting end-to-end Hybrid Cloud Automation of application delivery, including Infrastructure provisioning and integration with (CI/CD) platforms, using existing and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DevOps and Cloud competencies across Centric organization.
  • Assess companies DevOps and Cloud maturity level across organization.
  • Work with engineering and development teams to develop infrastructure architectures, standards and quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Direct collaboration with the development teams and the infrastructure teams to define and refine the continuous delivery pipeline process & procedures.
  • Active contributor to the Project Architecture / Project Design phase in regards product deployment and infrastructure needs.
  • Direct involvement into the Centric Hybrid Cloud PaaS definition & design according to the DevOps needs and recommendations.
  • Develop tools and processes required to maintain stability and performance of large-scale distributed systems in the cloud.
  • Implementation and management of Cloud solutions – the full lifecycle of build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.
  • Partner with development teams and Infrastructure architects to empower business.
  • Collaborate with IT operations and service architects in crafting of AIS (Acceptance Into Service) documents/requirements.
  • Automate the environments by following continuous integration and deployment standards.
  • Provisioning IT infrastructure (servers, virtual machines and/or containers, etc.).
  • Move environments towards Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Automating IT services or back-end processes with IaC (e.g. ARM, Terraform, Ansible, Powershell, C#, F#, Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures while developing solutions for automation and scalability.
  • Develop centralized management and performance monitoring solutions for the infrastructure using latest DevOps class tools and products.
  • Facilitate and organize knowledge sharing sessions across Centric organization.
  • Share experience, knowledge and provide support for other colleagues.

Requirements

  • Strong automation skills / Scripting languages (On Windows, Linux, Azure Cloud, AWS, etc.).
  • Knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure (Server guest OS, Networking, Virtualization, Storage).
  • Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Passionate and experienced with automation by coding.
  • Strongly acquainted with DevOps way of working and CI\CD tools (e.g. TFS, Azure DevOps, VSTS, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management tools (Saltstack, Ansible, DSC, CHEF, Puppet, Terraform, etc.).
  • Understanding of core Public cloud services categories (Compute, Network, Storage, IAM, PaaS, SaaS offerings), auto-scalability and high-availability concepts on Cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with private and/or public cloud engineering.
  • Knowledge of containers and container management frameworks such as Docker, Docker EE, Kubernetes, Swarm, and NoSQL databases is considered an advantage.
  • ITSM processes in an ITIL environment.
  • Experience in working with AGILE methodologies.
  • Any formal Cloud based training and any industry cloud related industry accredited certification is a plus.
