As a Microsoft Platform Focused Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our organization's Microsoft-based platforms. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures. Your role will also involve providing expert guidance and support to customers who have security-related questions or concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Azure Security Architect and/or Azure Security Engineer) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working as a Security Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft platforms, including hands-on experience with Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Deep understanding of network and system security principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scanning.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Full business proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert on security for Microsoft platforms, including but not limited to Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and work on the results of the vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses and potential risks.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard our Microsoft-based platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding security-related inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies in the Microsoft ecosystem, and proactively recommend improvements to our security practices.

The salary for this position starts from €3200 to €4700 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
