Infrastructure engineer is responsible for on-premise hosted environment engineering and maintenance for Centric customers. Located in Equinix data centers in Netherlands, Centric infrastructure is aimed to be the platform of choice for customers looking for operational stability, resilient and process aware environments.

Infrastructure engineer will act as a member of Infrastructure Operations team, supporting standalone and hybrid Windows Infrastructure using ServiceNow ITSM tooling in combination with SCOM monitoring and SCCM configuration management solutions combined with display a strong understanding of Infrastructure components such as hardware, OS and generic application level. Supporting a hybrid Microsoft 365 service for selected customers

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, supporting, and/or administering Windows Server OS (2012-2022).
  • Automation skills with PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware components (servers, storage, networking).
  • Experience on using monitoring tools such as SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix.
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • ITIL knowledge.
  • Experience with enterprise grade backup solutions such as CommVault, Zerto, etc.
  • SCCM skills (user level).
  • Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures while engineering and supporting customer environments.
  • Use centralized management and monitoring solutions for the infrastructure to monitor, track and resolve incidents and problems and improvements.
  • Automate the environments by following continuous integration and deployment standards.
  • Participate in moving environments towards latest supported versions and patching levels.
  • Work closely and train junior staff members.

The salary for this position starts from €3000 to €4000 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
