Centric IT Solutions Lithuania is seeking for a Service Desk Agent who is curious and motivated to climb IT career ladder in an international IT company. Your primary job will be to solve and distribute incidents and to take care of the correct registration of the tickets. You will be a part of IT support specialists team, varying in seniority, and together you will be responsible for delivered quality and the happiness of our internal IT service customers (Centric international employees).

What level are we looking for?

Whether you have background in IT or you are new to the field - you will fit in the team, as long as you speak English language and have personal competencies listed below :) Never worked in IT? Not a problem - we will teach you all things needed!

Responsibilities

  • Quickly solving issues or work arounds, advising the next operator of possible solutions and distributing tickets;
  • Taking calls, registering, monitoring, categorizing and accurately filling in all required information;
  • Informing customers about the progress of tickets and linking them to the internal IT organization;
  • Working in 8 hour shifts, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm.

Requirements

  • English language - not lower than B2 level;
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365;
  • Active Directory/Exchange administration experience;
  • Knowledge of hardware: notebooks, desktops and peripherals;
  • Networking: basic knowledge of networking related to workplace;
  • Preferred: basic understanding of what these technologies are and used for: database administration, CRM, Confluence, DirectAccess, Teams, SharePoint, TFS, ITILv3 Certified; etc.

  • How your day looks like usually?

    Usually my day is quite exciting – after a sip of tasty coffee I start supporting of our clients. It’s quite interesting, because not all have technical knowledge, so while I fix issues, I can chat on various topics, even football with my customer. Some days can be intense, but this is just another challenge to take.

  • What do you like the best about this job?

    What I like the most about this job is that there is so much information and knowledge to gain. All cases that I work are quite different, there are always new issues that you need to think how to solve and always think about asking the right questions because sometimes it is the key in success.

  • What is your team like?

    My team is incredible and very professional. They are super supportive, when you need help – they definitely will help no matter what. And a healthy laugh is not missing among us also.

  • What are the best activities during the day?

    I think the best activities during the day for me is finding a solutions for more serious problems, finding a way to ease daily tasks.

  • How do you keep up in your field – what is the latest thing that you’ve learned and how/were did you learn it?

    To keep up in IT field you should never stop searching for new technologies, programs, solutions and many more. For me, even knowledge about upcoming updates and possible bugs is useful, because when the customer calls, I will know from where to start. Recently I’ve got a certification of ITIL 4 Foundation and the training of it really helped to understand, how healthy support should be done.
