Software Engineering Team Leader is responsible for assuring Software Engineering team’s performance by providing effective guidance. This role responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on daily basis to ensure smooth software delivery.

Requirements

  • Good team leadership and communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading a team.
  • ‘Can-do’ attitude and proactivity. 
  • Generic knowledge of software engineering, development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of Agile practices in software development.
  • Have experience building team & hiring new team members.
  • Advanced written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring team’s delivery according to the roadmap.
  • Being responsible for delivery of high-quality software/services and improving through training, coaching, and enabling the team.
  • Driving continuous process improvements.
  • Applying Agile principles at work and making sure the team has a set processes that enables them to be effective.
  • Setting up and striving to reach individual and team goals.
  • Focusing on the professional and personal growth of the team, including conducting performance and compensation reviews.
  • Ensuring best employee performance as well as guiding and inspiring to reach better results.
  • Planning team operation, verifying time sheets and other payroll/finance/HR related processes.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, potential risks and finding solutions, solving any team issues.
  • Being actively involved in recruitment and selection process, being responsible for onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintaining high enthusiasm level within the team, acting as the company ambassador (internally and externally).
  • Leading by example.

The salary for this position starts from €3000 to €5500 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
