Microsoft 365 - Enable combined registration of MFA and SSPR

To give users a better end-user experience, you can combine the registration of Multifactor Authentication with Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) so that users only have to provide this information once for both services when they login for the first time.

Go to User-->User settings-->Choose the setting "Manage user preview settings".

Under the option "Users can use the combined security information registration experience" choose "All" and then click "Save". At the next login via the web portal users should be prompted if they have not setup MFA/SSPR. You can also send users to the following page to setup their security info: https://aka.ms/mfasetup.

De ontwikkelingen op het gebied van Cloud gaan steeds sneller. Steeds meer organisaties vinden hun weg naar Microsoft 365. Helaas worden zaken als security, compliancy, identity, governance en adoptie nog weleens vergeten en dit terwijl Microsoft op bijna dagelijkse basis wijzigingen doorvoert. Op veel van deze wijzigingen heb je als organisatie geen invloed op, maar kunnen wel degelijk impact hebben. Het wordt steeds belangrijker om het grotere geheel te zien en te kunnen uitdragen.

Op het gebied van Cloud – en dan met name Microsoft 365 – word ik blij van het alsmaar groeiende aanbod van services en van de laagdrempeligheid hiervan! Microsoft zet vol in op de doorontwikkeling van Microsoft Teams en de integratie met andere services en applicaties. Deze ontwikkelingen volg ik dan ook op de voet. Het wordt voor iedere organisatie ook steeds gemakkelijker en laagdrempeliger om de stap naar het Microsoft 365 platform te maken. Microsoft heeft de documentatie goed op orde waardoor het voor een ieder makkelijk is om naslagwerk te vinden.
