Global Infrastructure PM Team

Smurfit Westrock Global IS is the central IT organization provide IT services to Smurfit Westrock globally.  Within GIS we have 3 main functions: Operations, Cyber and Portfolio.  Within the GIS Operations function we have a project managers pool reporting to the GIS Operations Program Manager.   We require extension in this team to support the high demand of new projects. 

As a result of this Smurfit Westrock is looking for a full time Project Manager to manage one of three projects within the Infrastructure Security domain area.  You will become part of a group of multiple experienced project managers in our Infrastructure area.

The Project manager will have to work in close collaboration with the existing Project Managers, Team Managers, Solution Architects, and the engineers.  You will report to the GIS Operations Program manager.

Main activities:

• Lead full project cycle for several projects. 

Knowledge and experience

• experience with managing projects in the infrastructure, Security and/or hosting domain is a must

• Extensive Project management experience essential;

• experience in an international working environment with delegated permission models is a must;

• knowledge of ITIL processes is a bonus;

• You understand that a proper project administration is essential for a successful project;

• Self starter attitude;

• You are a go-getter who is stress resistant;

• experience with managing projects in the infrastructure, Security and/or hosting domain is a must

What we offer

Period of deployment    : 9-12 till 31-5-2025
Weekly deployment       : 32-40 hours a week   
Work location                 : Breda         
Remote working             : expects presence in Breda, minimal 2 days a week
Maximum rate                : competitive 
Working distance           : living within a radius of 60 minutes from (requirement of the customer)
