Centric is looking for someone who finds it exciting to step into the role of service desk engineer at our customer at Lysaker office. Our customer is Europe's largest supplier of renewable energy and a global market player in energy trading. Now there is a need for a new colleague who can accept support cases. With your problem-solving skills, you will be able to brush up on many different inquiries, and you will be able to build your expertise in support.

Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Main duty will be handling onsite issues via drop-in, phone or ticket system, and support users with PC, printers, mobile phone, meeting room equipment, installed applications and other related IT issues. In addition to upgrading/replacing PC parts, ordering warranty service on IT equipment and installing IT equipment for users.
  • Handling ticket and requests to troubleshoot the nature of reported problems and taking necessary steps to resolve those problems while documenting all steps in English.
  • You will be required to keep yourself updated on relevant IT knowledge. Training and courses will be provided.
  • Perform training of new team members.
  • Be part of different IT related projects.
  • A lot of the support will be in English only.

Din profil og kvalifikasjoner

​​​​​​We are looking for a person who has good communication skills, are structured and service-minded. To be succsessful in this role, it is also important that you are solution oriented. Qualifications and experience:

  • Genuine interest for IT and technology
  • You have no problem with building a PC from parts
  • Technical knowledge of iOS and Android devices
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English.
  • IT related education
  • Experience from 1./2. line support
  • Good knowledge of CMD or PowerShell
  • Office 365 and Azure

The position:
It is a permanent, full-time position with a 6 month trail period. Startup as soon as possible.  
Our customer has their office at Lysker, a short distance from the bus and trainstation.
