We are looking for a Squad Lead who has good experience with process and change management for a project at one of our customers.

Description

As a squad lead you will be reporting to the crew lead which is organized in the underground portfolio. The squad is responsible for the early phase / feasibility and select part of the process. The main responsibility of the Squad Leads are; removing blockers, ensuring progress can be made by team members by removing issues outside of their control, dealing with any organisational impediments, and protecting the squad from unnecessary distraction. The squad lead is responsible for the day to day agile management activities such as running the Scrum process.

The squad lead is accountable for:

  • Ensure squad is working efficiently using the scaled agile framework
  • Follow up the squad and squad deliveries in relation to progress, costs, scope and quality
  • Coordinate scope with the other squad leads to ensure the entire end-to-end process is interlinked and preserved
  • Maximize the Squads ability to deliver on their sprint goals
  • Run the Squad level ceremonies like Daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Sprint Review etc. are conducted focusing on value return.
  • Coach, engage, and support relevant stakeholders in the organisation exposed to change
  • Identify and analyse risks related to change initiatives and contribute to risk mitigation
  • Create actionable deliverables to support change management efforts
  • Support solution development and definition of roles and responsibilities 
  • Integrate change management activities into the project plan 
  • Escalates and supports resolution of any impediments and blockers
  • Bring out the best of each squad member and build commitment within the team

Your profile

  • 5-10 years of experience with agile project management
  • Experienced in process improvement, change projects and change management
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
  • Experience in the oil and gas sector and those applications
  • Experience in well intervention can be an advantage
  • Experience with scaled agile framework

  • Flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment    
  • Be a clear and strong authority within own discipline
  • Able to balance professional best practices with pragmatic solutions
