We are looking for a Release Train Engineer who will facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value by communicating with stakeholders, escalating impediments, helping manage risk, coaching the teams, and driving relentless improvement.

You will focus on continuous improvement and adapting for the benefit of the Agile Release Train (ART). You will manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART, foster collaboration between teams and system-level stakeholders, facilitate PI Planning readiness and the event itself, follow and communicate key ART execution metrics. You will also have to escalate and track ART impediments.

What you bring to the team

  • Understanding Business needs and constant communication with product and solution management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee the alignment of strategy and execution.
  • Ability to see the big picture and shape Program Backlog, Vision of the ART, working in Feature/Epic level of the backlog.
  • RTE is the middleman(woman) between teams and stakeholders/management, so the ability to communicate information and manage dependencies on both levels is needed.
  • RTE spends a lot of time communicating, so he/she should be able to do it freely, use visualization tools, have good written and oral communication skills, and use tools like Miro, Microsoft Teams, and others that Centric uses.
  • SAFe knowledge is a must! RTE is already an advanced role so having at least one SAFe certificate is a must. Recommendation to have SAFe Release Train Engineer or SAFe Program Consultant certificate.
  • Several years of experience in coaching and leading multiple teams, working with complex projects or transformations.
  • Having experience as RTE or as part of ART.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural and distributed teams.
  • Experience and knowledge of particular domain where RTE will be working: cloud computing, software development, infrastructure.
  • Possess strong communication skills, should be an excellent presenter and facilitator of conversation, as well as a supportive and influential teacher and mentor.

The project you’ll be working on

Tisza project is developing the SaaS solution that will support the new Dutch Environment Law. It provides an all-in-one SaaS solution for VTH-processing (permits, surveillance, and enforcement). The customers are enabled to directly meet the requirements to connect to the DSO (new Dutch nationwide systems) and to work via the renewed procedures, providing coherent decision making within the timeframes as set forth in new law. The solution is currently in development and testing phase and expected to go in production before the arrival of the new Environmental law.
