The Data Manager will be working with a set of data and seeking out patterns to utilize the data based on the customers standard. The Data Manager will be involved in overseeing the development and usage of data systems and ensures that all data to and from the systems run timely, securely and with high quality. The Data Manager position requires technology knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skill and strong decision-making & problem-solving skills.

Description

We are looking for a Data Manager to manage the progress and usage of the customers data. You will be responsible for finding effective ways to collect, store, manage and distribute data focusing on data quality. 

Main responsibilities 

  • Creating and defining strategies including policies and principles for data management, data governance and data quality. 
  • Drive Data architecture standardization and harmonization across the customer’s solution 
  • Contribute to the organisation with guidance on master data, reference data and metadata management. 
  • Evaluating and formulating procedures for data acquisition from 3rd party data sources to ensure accuracy, acceptability and validity of data. 
  • Support the organisation in the daily use of data and ensure adherence to legal / compliance and the customer data standard.  
  • Lead solution conceptualisation efforts (e.g., proof of concepts of solution capabilities). 
  • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution as well as exploration of solution alternatives. 

Your profile

Required qualifications and experience for the role: 

  • Minimum 3 years of documented experience from working as data analyst or with data management. 
  • Strong knowledge within Data Management with focus on Data Modelling, Data Quality and Meta Data. 
  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance 
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Knowledge within BI & Data Analytics 
  • Knowledge about agile framework
