We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the global roll-out of Polarion, our new testing and requirements tool. Polarion will replace our requirements tool Doors and our testtool QC.
0.5/0.7FTE, 32 hours start of project first month(s) 24 hours later on
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing migrations of our customer and R&D projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This includes the follow-up of the planning and the runbooks within the customer and R&D projects. Next to that you have to manage the project-activities of the IT-team.
The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of the global roll-out of Polarion.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Liaise with project stakeholders (within corporate IT and within the R&D and customer projects on an ongoing basis.
Plan and manage the steering committee meetings and the project meetings
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project and migration timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Experience in Projects Sector-driven organisation
It must be someone with IT affinity, decisiveness and a ‘bridge builder’ (all customers and R&D projects within Vanderlande must start working with this new tool).
We use Polarion as requirements and testing tooling within Vanderlande.
