Cloud Platform Engineer

What you do

At Centric, our Platform Engineering team is in the lead of transforming how the organization delivers and operates applications. We are building a fully automated infrastructure management platform with self-service. It automates the entire lifecycle of application hosting, including: provisioning, access management, backups, monitoring, maintenance & operations. 

Our Internal Cloud Management Platform empowers DevOps teams to re-platform and refactor applications with ease, accelerating their journey to the cloud. From the very beginning, we’ve focused on public cloud providers, leveraging their capabilities to build a mature, scalable, and secure platform. We’re now expanding functionality and begun building private cloud offering. For this purpose, we’re looking for skilled engineer who can help us extend our automation-first approach to hybrid environments.

A summary of your responsibilities:

• Designing, testing & implementing platform features for all aspects of the automated infrastructure lifecycle.
• Performing operations tasks such as monitoring platform performance over time or troubleshooting issues with platform production services.
• Participating in meetings with DevOps engineers and developers to discuss technical issues, propose solutions.
• Collaborating with team members to suggest, brainstorm & design new features or improve existing ones.

What you bring to the team

• Experience building and maintaining private hosted enterprise infrastructure (we prefer VMware).
• Knowledge of public cloud providers (we prefer Azure, GCP). AWS – nice to have.
• Passion for automation of infrastructure and configuration (we prefer Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (we prefer Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining scripts (we prefer Python & PowerShell).

The salary for this position starts from €2700 to €4700 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
