Data Scientist

What you do

We are a dynamic team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts working on diverse, project-based initiatives. As generalists, we tackle a wide array of challenges, from conversational AI and image processing to OCR and signal processing. Our main tech stack includes Python, Azure Cloud, and AWS, allowing us to adapt to various data-driven needs. 

We are seeking a versatile Data Scientist with a strong foundation in traditional machine learning and AI, proficient Python skills, and a passion for being a "jack of all trades." This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a multifaceted environment—combining coding, mentoring junior team members, managing projects, and direct client communication. A summary of your responsibilities:

• Developing statistical algorithms and machine learning models for regression, classification, clustering, or computer vision tasks, with a focus on utilizing unstructured data.
• Collaborating with product managers and business stakeholders to comprehend company needs and provide guidance on analytical solutions.
• Participating in projects from the proof-of-concept stage to implementation in a production environment, ranging from simple statistical analysis to creating machine learning pipelines for real-time decision-making.
• Direct communication with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Our clients and projects span various business fields, including logistics, insurance, and the public sector, among others.

What you bring to the team

• Proven experience in a similar role. 
• University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant field (or other demonstrable source of education).
• Proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, visualization, machine learning, and statistics. 
• Experience in translating customer and business needs into a data analytics approach, roadmaps, and vice versa. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of Python. 
• Experience in Azure Cloud or AWS. 
• Bonus: DevOps or MLOps knowledge; data ethics knowledge.

The salary for this position starts from €3300 to €4300 gross per month, depending on the knowledge and experience.
