What you do

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst who will not only work with data but also act as a trusted partner to clients in the field of Business Intelligence (BI). In this role, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and structuring business needs and translating them into effective, data-driven solutions covering the entire data lifecycle — from data collection, transformation, and modeling to visualization.

The ideal candidate is expected not only to implement solutions technically but also to consult clients, propose optimal analytics approaches, challenge assumptions, and help organizations make informed, data-driven decisions. This role combines strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

A summary of your responsibilities:

  • Consult clients on BI and analytics topics – actively engage with stakeholders, identify business needs, analyze requirements, and translate them into clear data solutions.
  • Design and develop analytical solutions – build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring usability, clarity, and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and optimize semantic data models – design efficient data models (star schema, snowflake), create and maintain DAX calculations (measures, calculated columns), manage relationships, and ensure performance.
  • Work with databases – write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL/Python queries; perform data extraction, transformation, and aggregation to ensure efficient processing.
  • Analyze large datasets – identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; provide clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency – maintain accuracy, integrity, and proper data structure across solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams – work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and sales teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.

What you bring to the team

  • 2–5 years of experience in BI / Data Analyst roles, including hands-on work with business requirements and delivering real-world data solutions.
  • Strong experience with Power BI – ability to build not only visually appealing but also scalable, high-performing, and insightful solutions.
  • Advanced SQL skills – ability to write and optimize complex queries and work with large datasets in production environments.
  • Experience using Python for data processing, automation, or analytical tasks.
  • Practical experience with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) and a solid understanding of analytical data modeling.
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., MS Fabric, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow) and understanding of their role in data architecture (considered a strong advantage).
  • Ability to work with clients as a partner – clarify needs, challenge assumptions, and propose optimal solutions.
  • Self-driven and accountable, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
  • Proficiency in English, working with international clients and documentation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with broader data architecture concepts and end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices in analytics solutions.
