Ready to be a Centrician? We're here to help. To take some of the mystery out of the process and hopefully to calm your nerves a bit, we've added a few tips & tricks, along with some of our colleagues' thoughts about the hiring process.
Tips & Tricks
Carefully read the job description
Before you arrive, read over the job description so you know what to expect when you talk to a recruiter or come for an interview.
Research the company and the role
Explore our website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) to get an idea of what we're all about, how we do things, and our culture and values. This will help you see if we are a good fit for each other.
Take some time to prepare
During a chat on the phone with a recruiter or during one of the interviews, we will talk about your hard and soft skills, motivations, goals, future plans, and your expectations, in addition to the specifics of the role you are applying for.
Think of some questions you'd like to ask us about the company, the recruitment process, or the job. And we will ask you some questions about your experience and career goals. So, take some time to think about some concrete examples of your accomplishments and ambitions.
Dress code: casual
It’s not important to us that you’re wearing a suit and tie; we care more about what you have to say than what you are wearing. And most of us wear casual, everyday clothes to work anyway.
Just be yourself
One of our main values is people first, which means that we welcome you to be true to yourself when you come to meet us – like you would be if you were having a chat with a good friend. Don’t be afraid to show off your personality, quirks, or anything that makes you, you! Our goal is to avoid all the corporate stuff so we can both see if we are a good match for each other.
Plan enough time for the chat with our team
Schedule enough time for the interview to make sure we have time to get to know each other and for you to get answers to all the questions you have during the interview.
Try to be on time
To feel more relaxed, try to get to the interview at least 15 minutes early. That way, you can check in, get some tea or coffee, and take a few minutes to prepare. If you’re running late, it’s good to have the recruiter’s number ready, so you can call and let them know.
Reach out to us
If you’re not feeling 100% about your interview, contact us by email or phone. We can answer any questions and help make the process as relaxing as possible.
Send an open application
If a job at Centric is your dream, but you don’t see an open position in your field, no worries. You can send us an open application and we'll get back to you.
