Custom Copilot agents: accelerating development through shared knowledge
As our .NET projects continued to grow, we noticed a recurring challenge across the team. Developers were spending significant time writing similar test scaffolding, searching for the right Copilot prompts, and ensuring that generated code followed our established conventions. While GitHub Copilot was already helping us move faster, the quality and consistency of the output often depended on how well each developer knew the project's standards and how effectively they could craft prompts.

Love building your product with Lovable
Lovable is an AI-powered web platform that enables users to create websites, applications, prototypes, through natural language. You can simply just type in an idea, a concept, or just describe what you want, and Lovable will not only build it for you, but also propose improvements or next steps for you, based on your context. Lovable also makes it easy to publish your projects to the public, and through the help of Supabase, can also help you database-wise (trust me, it’s extremely helpful). Lovable also allows for easy Figma integration, so in case you already have designs created, Lovable can build using your designs as base.Author: Anca Stumbea, UI/UX Designer.

Exploring Odata - Benefits and drawbacks
In the dynamic world of technology, where innovation often means breaking the rules and exploring new approaches, we should not ignore also the importance of standards and principles. Indeed, sometimes the standards can feel restrictive, potentially feel that they reduce creativity or that they are slowing us down. At other times, a structured approach is crucial because it saves time and money. In this article, I will share my personal experience with OData protocol, mostly on the requesting data part, which was a journey with ups and downs.

Ensure your safety net for software applications
Software can be seen as a virtual world, where real life assets, like houses or roads, can be visualized in the software applications. An application can be understood like a house and the integration connections between different applications can be imagined as roads. Application security can be thought of in similar ways to the protection ensured by people for their houses, like doors with locks, or the protection offered for the money and legal documents being transported in wallets or briefcases while people are walking on the roads.

The QA Metrics – ways to communicate it
Everyone from the industry wants to deploy into production, weekly, daily, and even hourly. Current software development is fast-paced and this requires reliable and predictable quality gates. Testing on its own doesn't cover the need to improve on software quality. When evaluating software, it's mandatory to use efficient test metrics and to adapt the way we communicate about quality. With this article I try to emphasize how important it is to share information about product quality in a clear way and to use the right metrics to measure the level of quality.Author: Iulian Mitrea, Quality Assurance Discipline Coordinator
